New England in Transition?

Over at Economic Principals, David Warsh has a post titled “Winter in New England” in which he ruminates on the state of the region’s economy.  In a few short paragraphs he traces the rise, fall, rise, fall (and rise again?) of New England in the post-war era.  A very interesting summary and a very useful guide to the dynamics of an economy that is continually reinventing itself.
