Ray Bradbury, RIP

SciFi author Ray Bradbury has died at 91.  His Fahrenheit 451 is a haunting novel and the dystopia he describes might be a little unsettling for the modern reader.

Aside from book-burning, the social practices used to stifle independent thinking included big screen TVs spewing out reality programming and interactive dramas, ear buds that people freely wore continuously, filling their heads with familiar music, and vast stretches of landscape where pedestrians were not allowed.

His voice will be missed.
